TIMESAUSTRALIA, BANYUWANGI – Some Taruna (students) of Akademi Penerbangan Indonesia (API) a.k.a The Indonesian Aviation Academy or the Balai Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Penerbangan (BP3) a.k.a Aviation Education and Training Center Banyuwangi from Papua were spotted joining the training held by the instution.
"We just want to make sure that they especially the Papua students feel comfy during their training. We make sure that there will be no bullying or racism in this class," AKBP Taufik Herdiansyah Zeinardi said on Thursday (29/8/2019).
In addition, still according to him, there are around 22 Papua students who join the training. They mainly came from Manokwari, Biak, Nabire, Sorong, Mimika, Serui and Jayapura.
So far, they socialized well and gather with all their friend in class. The Chief also asked to all the students to maintain the peaceful and nice atmosphere in their classrooms.
"We hope that the issue about Papua won't affect all the Papua students here. Lets make Indonesia stay as a peaceful country, and lets start it from Banyuwangi," the Chief Police of Banyuwangi AKBP Taufik Herdiansyah Zeinardi added.(*)
